school-linked program provides family advocates who help families
access needed community and school resources to address problems
that may be interfering with their child’s success at school. The
assistance may include access to necessary health care, parent education,
counseling, home visitations, and more.
Minority Youth Leadership
Program
Vancouver
This
program, sponsored by CHSW, is a Clark County community initiative
that provides support, leadership training and cultural mentorship
opportunities for Clark County minority youth. The youth connect
with each other and with the larger community by providing community
service.
Triple Point
Vancouver
Triple Point is a weekly support group that provides social activities, education, information and referrals, leadership, and self esteem building opportunities to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual,
Transgender and Questioning youth and works with educators, parents and
the community to build support for LGBTQ youth in Clark County.
